Post 49 honors those killed and injured at Pearl Harbor

WARSAW — The American Legion Post 49 in Warsaw held a brief ceremony at noon Thursday to recall the attack on Pearl Harbor that plunged the United States into World War II.

More than 2,400 Americans died in the attack and another 1,000 were wounded.

The ceremony included various historical passages and a prayer, according to a report by the Times-Union.
