A way to help you vote from any polling place in the county, rather than an assigned poll, could be rolling out in the future.

Kosciusko County Clerk Ann Torpy briefly discussed a vote center during Tuesday’s County Commissioners Meeting. A vote center is a polling place where an eligible voter could go to any polling place in the county to vote. Torpy says there are two goals in mind with the vote center, which include a cost savings on the county and giving a voter more flexibility and convenience.

A public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 22nd from 6 to 7 PM to allow voters a chance to voice any questions, comments or concerns with a vote center. The meeting will be held in the old courtroom on the 3rd floor of the downtown Warsaw courthouse.
