Purdue University has developed a three-year bachelor's program for some students that it says will allow them to save more than $9,000. The three-year plan is available immediately to students majoring in general communication, public relations and strategic communication, mass communication, corporate communication, and human relations. Students would take 18 credit hours over each of four semesters, 15 hours over the two other semester and nine hours during the two summers.
