Road Restrictions and Closures to Begin Today, toward End of Week

West Center Street
West Center Street, between Columbia Street and Pike Street, will be restricted to one lane with a flagger on Thursday and Friday, September 12 and 13.

This closure is for emergency sewer repairs in preparation for paving that is scheduled for next week.

As a reminder, West Market Street is also currently closed between Columbia Street and West Center Street for scheduled road work.
Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes, especially when traveling to and from the Boggs Industrial Park area.
Extended 300 North Closures Expected As Early As Wednesday
Beginning on or after Wednesday, September 11, County Road 300 North will be closed from Escalade Way (the cross street near Physicians Urgent Care and Aspen Dental) West to the Tippecanoe River Bridge.  This closure is to allow for the installation of new underground infrastructure, completion of the walking path, construction a roundabout, and road paving.
As a result of this work, additional road closures will occur.  The intersection of 300 North and Sheldon Street will be closed for roundabout construction.  Other parts of Sheldon Street will remain open.  Tippe Downs Drive will not be accessible from County Road 300 North, and residents should use Petro Drive to access their homes.
Local traffic for residents on 300 North will only have access from the West end of the project at the river bridge.
There will be access to all businesses, but alternate routes may be necessary.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes due to anticipated traffic delays.
This project is expected to be completed in November.  All work is weather dependent.
