Roads To Be Heavily Patrolled By Police Over Holiday

Holiday time means Hoosiers are rushing around on state roadways. State figures show that Thanksgiving through New Year’s is an intense time for speeding, crashes, weather and alcohol-related crashes and fatalities. Indiana State Police Sgt. Rich Myers says that’s why they’re beefing up patrols across the state. In addition, Myers says they’re also looking for intoxicated drivers.
