A motorcyclist from Rochester was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Monday afternoon in northwestern Kosciusko County.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash along County Road 1100 West, just south of 1200 North in Scott Township, southwest of Nappanee. Investigators say 69-year old Kathryn Miller of Osceola was northbound on 1100 West, when she was making a left turn into a driveway. Miller was said to cross into the path of the southbound motorcycle, driven by 26-year old Bryce Hershberger.

Hershberger struck the passenger side of Miller’s minivan and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say Hershberger was wearing a helmet. Miller was not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
