A Rochester Middle School principal was arrested last month for allegedly boating while intoxicated. On June 28, a DNR conservation officer stopped Oscar Haughs on Lake Manitou, and Haughs allegedly admitted to drinking beer earlier that day and apologized. Two women and six girls were also on the boat. The arrest report says Haughs registered at .164 on a breathalyzer test and is due in court in September. The Rochester Community School Corporation released a statement saying it has not made any final decision on Haughs’ future there.
