The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Warsaw and Lake City Bank are partnering to collect funds for victims of the tornadoes that hit Kentucky and Illinois on Dec. 10.
The Salvation Army Disaster Services personnel are on the scene since the storms providing services to those in need and the relief workers, according to a news release from The Salvation Army. At the current time, only financial donations are being accepted due to lack of storage. Monies are also spent in that area to help with the recovery of commerce.
Donations may be given at any branch of Lake City Bank in Kosciusko and Whitley counties through January
“We appreciate the support of Lake City Bank in helping ‘others’ for this long-term recovery in Kentucky and Illinois,” said Envoy Ken Locke, local administrator of The Salvation Army. “All funds will go to the relief efforts as we pray for healing in the Heartland.”
