Same-Sex Hearing Rally

The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments today (Tue) in a combined appeal by Indiana and Wisconsin officials of federal district court rulings striking down each state's ban on same-sex marriage. Gay couples heading for Chicago for the hearing believe they are on the right side of history. Nearly 100 supporters gathered Monday in downtown Indianapolis to see off some of the plaintiffs. The pro same-sex marriage group, “Hoosiers Unite for Marriage” sponsored the rally and caravan that took off from Indy. Rallies also took place in Lafayette and Munster.
