Two people from Silver Lake were injured following a crash along State Road 14 late Saturday morning in southern Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the crash at the intersection with County Road 600 West around 10:45 AM. A preliminary investigation says 41-year old April Lloyd was southbound along 600 West approaching State Road 14, when she failed to yield to an eastbound pickup truck, driven by 19-year old Amber High.
High’s truck struck Lloyd’s car on its passenger side, sending both vehicles into the ditch on the south end of the road. Both drivers were said to suffer non-life threatening injuries, with Lloyd being flown from the scene.
