Search for suspect in sex crime on Notre Dame campus

The search continues for the man campus security officers at Notre Dame believe could be behind a sexual assault.

The department issued a crime alert on Friday, Nov. 3, after getting a report of sexual misconduct on a campus pedestrian path between Leahy Drive and the D Bulla Parking Lot.

The suspect, described as a white male, 20 to 30-years-old, 5’8″ with a stocky build, walked past the female victim, then turned around and followed her and engaged in misconduct. He then took off.

The suspect was wearing a baseball cap and a two-toned jacket.
