A seven year old girl was injured after she was hit by a vehicle near Pierceton.
Sergeant Chris Francis with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened just after 6:30 PM in the 300-block of North County Road 900 East. According to investigators, the girls was riding her scooter from a residential driveway, when she rode into the street and into the path of a southbound SUV.
She was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital with a pelvic injury. The girl’s name was not released.
