Elkhart Sheriff's deputies are investigating a case of shots fired. According to police, deputies responded to a dispute, Friday, in the 21000 block of County Road 45. They say 26 year-old Jessie Miller and 28 year-old Kristi Chupp of Goshen were walking near the area when the 78 year-old suspect fired a shotgun from his home in an attempt to deter them from the property. Miller and Chupp were not injured. No charges have been announced, as Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing their investigation.
