A Silver Lake man was arrested today on an outstanding warrant from an incident where he was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery with children younger than 16 present and domestic battery.
Zachery D. Fry, 32, of 10402 S. Ind. 15, Silver Lake, faces these charges from an incident that occurred March 22, 2011. An officer with the Claypool Police Department spoke with the victim who said she and Fry were having a verbal disagreement and it turned physical, according to a probable cause affidavit filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
She told the officer that Fry broke the television, broke the cabinet glass in the kitchen and then threatened her with a knife. She said Fry told her he was going to kill her, the affidavit states. Fry stabbed the counter with the knife and then shoved the victim on the floor and put his first through the wall. Children were on the couch witnessing the scene the entire time.
