Stabbing Suspect Arrested For Residential Entry

The man suspected in Monday’s possible stabbing at McDonald’s, 315 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, has been arrested.

John Edward Robinson, 48, of 303 W. Winona Ave.,?Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday for residential entry with a $5,250 preliminary bond. Charges for Monday’s incident were not filed as of Wednesday afternoon.

According to a previous Warsaw Police Department press release, officers were dispatched initially to the Kosciusko County Justice Building in regards to a reported stabbing. It was determined the stabbing occurred at McDonald’s. The victim had drove himself to the Justic Building.

Surveillance video was used to determine an argument had occurred on the west side of McDonald’s between the victim and the suspect, which turned physical. The victim was stabbed on the left side of his body with an unknown sharp object, presumed to be a knife, the released stated. The suspect began to flee the scene on a bicycle, which was dropped. The suspect left McDonald’s on foot.
