State COVID vaccine clinic opens in Syracuse today

A COVID vaccination clinic opens today in Syracuse.

The state run clinic will be held at the Syracuse Community Center from 9 AM to 6 PM each day through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome but officials are urging the use of appointments. The vaccine is available at no cost, but if you have health insurance, you are asked to submit that information.

The clinic is offering the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine along with the two-shot Pfizer vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is approved for those ages 12 to 17, and those between 12 and 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You can make an appointment here.
