There are a couple of important new Consumer Alerts to pass along.

Some bottles of Stella Artois beer are being recalled because they might contain particles of glass.

The voluntary recall applies to packages of 6, 12, 18 and 24 bottles of Stella Artois, 6 and 12-packs of Stella Artois Légère, and individual bottles in Stella’s “Best of Belgium” multi-packs sold in both the U.S. and Canada.

The company says less than one percent of their shipments are affected, and they have set up a help page online with more details and stock numbers.

Also, Sam’s Club has announced a recall on Member’s Mark canned chicken due to safety concerns.

The Department of Agriculture says the Tony Downs Food Company recalled approximately 97,000 pounds of chicken processed on November 28 and 29 that might contain extraneous materials like hard plastic.

There have been no confirmed reports of reactions after consumption of the chicken but they should be thrown away immediately.
