Syracuse Man Arrested For Fraud and Theft

A Syracuse man was arrested after police say he used a town credit card.
Aaron Lee Warren, 26, of 519 Harbour Landing Drive, Syracuse, was charged with one count of fraud, a level six felony, and one count of theft, a Class A misdemeanor,
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Syracuse Police Chief Jim Layne misplaced his town-issued credit card. Once he reported the card missing, he contacted VISA card services.
He discovered the card had been used at a CVS to buy miscellaneous items, totaling less than $100. The affidavit alleges surveillance video shows Warren making the purchase.
Warren was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail today, and his bond was set at $5,000.
