Third person arrested in arson case linked to death of Etna Green man

A third person is being charged in an arson case linked to the death of an Etna Green man.

49-year-old Mark Blankenship of Pierceton was arrested Wednesday.

He’s accused of aiding, inducing, or causing arson after a car was found in flames in Milford on April 7. That was the same day that a car hit 27-year-old Matthew Hoshal on Lake Street, causing the injuries he later died from at the hospital.

24-year-old Blake Dull and 28-year-old Hannah Shea were both previously arrested in connection to the incident.

They are believed to have been intoxicated when Hoshal was hit, and are accused of burning the car to try and get rid of evidence.
