Tight finish in the Kosciusko County Superior Court 3 race

The race for Kosciusko County Superior Court 3 came down to the wire in Tuesday’s primary.

In the end, Chad Miner pulled off the victory over his opponents with 3,688 votes. Not too far behind Miner was Karin McGrath, who finished with 3,327 votes. The other two opponents, Lindsey Grossnickle at 1,839 votes and Robert Bishop had 995.

For Kosciusko County Commissioner of the Northern District, Brad Jackson held that spot with 5,286 votes over Marcia Baumgarter, who got 3,996 votes.

Kosciusko County Council at-large bids, leading the way was Kathy Groninger with 5,839 votes and joining her is Sue Ann Mitchell and Joni Truex.

In the local state races, Representatives Jackie Walorski and Jim Banks both had sizeable leads, but not all precincts are reporting as of Wednesday morning.
