Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social Wednesday to critique three of Indiana’s most high-profile lawmakers, touting Third District Congressman Jim Banks while taking a shot at one of Indiana’s two US Senators, Todd Young.

The post was widely shared Wednesday on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Banks, the post read, “has no choice but to be great, because Indiana’s other Senator, Todd Young, has been weak & ineffective!”

“Jim will be replacing a very good and effective Senator in Mike Braun who is running for governor!” the post read.

Banks announced plans to run for the US Senate and appears to have little opposition so far in the 2024 race.

Braun has chosen to run for governor and recently endorsed Banks. Braun is facing challenges from a handful of Republicans in the 2024 race.

Young was elected to a second term in 2022 for a six-year term.

Trump has previously endorsed Banks.

While Trump often takes to social media to attack and support candidates, today’s post is unique in that he’s attacking three elected Republicans within the same state in one fell swoop.
