Warsaw Police have arrested two people from Ligioner after a series of Walmart thefts.

33-year-old Roxanna Prater and 41-year-old Paul Luna are facing felony charges for theft and corrupt business influence.

The Times Union reports the two were involved in a scheme to steal merchandise from Walmart on seven different occasions in late 2017. It involved unwrapping items and hiding them, then bagging the unscanned items at the self-checkout.

Hundreds of dollars of stolen merchandise was then returned back to the store.

Prater was already facing a criminal theft case from Meijer prior to this arrest.
