Three people from Kosciusko County were injured in a weekend crash Saturday night north of Goshen.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says 49-year old Noel Sparks of Milford was westbound on County Road 20, when he came to a stop at the intersection with State Road 15.
Sparks was then said to proceed into the intersection, and that’s when a southbound motorcycle driven by 64-year old Bobby Burchett of Warsaw struck the side of Sparks’ vehicle.
The impact caused Burchett and a passenger on the motorcycle, 60-year old Carol Burchett of Warsaw to be ejected from the vehicle.
The Burchett’s were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for their injuries. Sparks was said to suffer some back pain, but was not taken to the hospital. Three passengers in Sparks’ vehicle were not injured. Sparks was cited for failure to yield.
