Two Injured, One Arrested In Leesburg Boat Crash



Two adults were thrown out of their boat and injured Sunday at 2 a.m. on Tippecanoe Lake. 
David Vie, 39, Fort Wayne, was allegedly driving his boat while intoxicated when he collided with the boat the victims were in, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.  Vie was arrested for driving a motorboat while intoxicated and refusing to submit to a chemical test at 4:38 a.m. 
The victims have been identified by the  DNR as Dominic Fisher and Tiffany Fugate. Fisher suffered serious injury to his leg after being struck by the propeller. Fugate suffered a minor head injury.
