Two men arrested for separate armed robbery incidents in Warsaw

Two people were taken into custody Friday for two separate robberies that occurred at the Warsaw Market at the 800 block of East Center Street on January 2 and January 12.

Investigation into the robbery that occurred on January 2 led officers to 38-year-old Christopher Roberts of Warsaw.  Officers were informed that a man matching the description in the video release was responsible for a second robbery that occurred at a gas station at the corner of IN-114 and IN-15 in Wabash County on January 7.

Roberts will be charged with armed robbery with deadly weapon, level 3 felony, battery with deadly weapon, level 5 felony, theft with enhancement, level 6 felony.

Officers have arrested 36-year-old James Loftis, 36 of Warsaw for the January 12 robbery. He’s been booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for armed robbery with deadly weapon, level 3 felony, and theft with enhancement, level 6 felony.
