UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 9pm Saturday

The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Weather Advisory from 1pm today, Saturday, to 9pm this evening.

Ice accumulation of less than one tenth of an inch is expected today with snow accumulations around 1-2 inches.  A mix of snow and freezing drizzle will continue.  Most of the precipitation will change to light freezing drizzle by midday, according to the NWS. Then, again mix with snow and sleet late this afternoon and evening.

Untreated roads are and will remain slick and hazardous. A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Use caution while driving and be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
