Vaccines continue to ramp up in Kosciusko County; blue advisory continues

Kosciusko County remains in the blue advisory by the Indiana Department of Health this week as COVID metrics stay low and vaccines continue to ramp up.

Wednesday’s update shows nearly 8,700 people have now been fully vaccinated, which includes 239 people who have received the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Another 14,700 residents have received their first dose of the vaccine.

Indiana is nearing one million residents who have been fully vaccinated, while nearly 1.5 million others have gotten their first dose. See the latest numbers at coronavirus.in.gov/vaccine.

Locally, you can call the local hotline run by the Bowen Center at 574-347-4256, which is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM. The Bowen Center hotline is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
