People will gather tonight for a vigil to remember three pillars of the Wawasee community.
Retired Syracuse Elementary kindergarten teacher and cheerleader coach Kim Conrad and her son Stephen Conrad, II, a 2003 Wawasee graduate and accomplished golfer, died Christmas Day in a tragic car crash.
In addition, Jeff Rostochak, 56, a middle school basketball coach at Milford who died unexpectedly Dec. 21, will be remembered.
The community is invited to gather at The Lodge, formerly the Smith-Walbridge Camp) located at 13814 N. Eastshore Drive in Syracuse at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for song and prayer.
The Syracuse-Wawasee Ministerial Association helped organize the event.
