The May First Friday hasn’t necessarily been canceled for this evening, but instead of being held in person, it will be held as a virtual event.
Tonight’s event will feature live music from Sam Ule on the First Friday Facebook page from 7 to 8 PM. There will also be an at-home sidewalk chalk competition from 6 to 6:45 PM. In this contest, contestants must take a photo of their work and then post it on Facebook and tagging the First Friday Facebook page. Winners will receive a $50 gift card to their downtown business of choice.
Friday also kicks off the Downtown Warsaw Gift Card fundraiser, which will run through Sunday, May 10th at 11:59 PM. Community members will be able to support their favorite downtown businesses by purchasing gift cards online at the Warsaw Community Development Corporation website.
