A long time area attorney is retiring after practicing law for 45 years.
James Walmer made the announcement this week via a press release from his family. Walmer served as the town attorney for Winona Lake for 42 years and Pierceton for 36 years. He has been listed in “Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America” in 1993/1994 by The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board.
During retirement, Walmer looks forward to spending time with Carolyn, his children and 12 grandchildren. Walmer said he “is grateful for the support of his clients and colleagues as well as the entire community of Warsaw and Kosciusko County. I look forward to this next chapter in life filled with quality family time.”
