Warsaw Community Schools seeks budget increase for 2018

Warsaw Community Schools is planning a $78 million budget for 2018, an increase of about $1 million from 2017.

The Times Union reports the school’s chief financial officer says the increase in the budget should not have a tax impact.

A public hearing on the budget will be set for October.

Once the school board approves the budget it will be sent to the Indiana Department of  Local Government Finance for approval before being finalized.
