A new way to check out at the grocery store will be coming to Warsaw by year’s end.

Kroger has introduced “Scan, Bag, Go” at one of its Noblesville stores, and Kroger’s Troy Hinkle says Warsaw is one of the 11 other stores who will be getting this new technology by the end of the year.

“There’s going to be 400 stores this year, 12 in Indiana this year,” he explains.

When you enter the store you will be able to pick up a handheld scanner and a bag, then scan items as you put them in your cart.

When you reach the self-checkout, all that’s left is to scan a single bar code at the checkout station, and pay.
