Watch the peak of the Taurid Meteor Shower Friday

Take a step back from politics and look into the Friday night’s sky for a show.

The annual Taurid meteor shower will occur tonight, Friday, Nov. 11. The meteors are remnants left behind from the passage of 2P/Encke, a Comet, according to Weather.com.

The Taurids are significant, because they’re more than just meteors. Some are fireballs, which are much brighter.

The Leonid Meteor Shower also occurs this month. Its peak will be Nov. 17 and will continue until Dec. 3.
