INDIANAPOLIS — Warsaw High School graduate Anna Wainscott is gaining professional experience as an intern with State Rep. Craig Snow (R-Warsaw) and his fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2023 legislative session.

Wainscott, a Kosciusko County resident, is the daughter of Brent and Candy Wainscott. She is currently attending Ball State University and majoring in communication studies.

“This internship is a great opportunity to network and make professional connections,” Wainscott said. “I can’t wait to start my career and make a difference in Indiana just like our legislators.”

As a legislative intern, Wainscott interacts with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails. She also has the responsibility of staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.

“We’re always excited to have local students like Anna intern at the Statehouse,” Snow said. “She is working very hard during session and building important professional skills. I look forward to seeing what her future holds.”

Each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of each legislative session.
