Three people were injured following a crash on Wednesday afternoon along State Road 14 near Packerton Road.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was called out to the intersection just after 5:30 PM on Wednesday for the incident involving two vehicles. Officials say 22-year old Kenyan Bennett of Warsaw was coming south on Packerton Road, made a stop at the intersection with SR 14, then made a right turn onto 14.
Bennett was then struck by a westbound pick-up truck, driven by 21-year old Dylan Prater of Silver Lake. Bennett was flown to Fort Wayne for his injuries, while two passengers in his vehicle, 21-year old Dawn Justice of Warsaw and 18-year old Jaine Reed of Warsaw were treated on scene. Prater was not injured.
