WEDNESDAY STATE COVID UPDATE: 394 new positive cases, 31 deaths in Indiana

In their Wednesday update, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 394 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the state total up to 12,438. This includes 31 new deaths, upping the state total to 661.

2,291 new tests were reported in the update, bringing the number of total tested in the state to 69,470, which equals 17.9 percent of those tested are positive for COVID-19.

Breaking it down locally, Kosciusko County reported one additional case to bring the county total up to 23. Officials will be releasing more details later in the day.

Wabash County has reported their first death related to COVID-19.
