Whiting BP Issue Resolved, Gas Prices Expected To Drop

The source of a spike in gas prices in the Midwest has been resolved. According to Patrick DeHaan of www.gasbuddy.com, the BP refinery in Whiting has restarted production. DeHaan says we should expect gas prices to drop as much as 50-cents over the next two weeks as stations buy gasoline at cheaper prices. But, DeHaan warns that it will be a much slower drop in prices than they were raised so companies can recoup profit losses.
