Willie Robertson of A&E’s Duck Dynasty to Speak at Grace College

WINONA LAKE — A member of the Robertson family of the popular A&E reality TV show “Duck Dynasty” is coming to Winona Lake.

Willie Robertson will speak at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Rd., Winona Lake, on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.  The CEO of Duck Commander and star of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” will give remarks about “faith, family and ducks” to the audience.

Willie Robertson has expanded his family company, Duck Commander, from a living room operation to a multi-million-dollar enterprise and destination for all things outdoors.  Duck Commander is the best-selling duck call brand in the United States as well as a popular trademark on apparel, hunting gear, food and more.

Robertson is executive producer of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” and “Buck Commander” on the Outdoor Channel.  He is a New York Times best-selling author of “The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family and Ducks Built a Dynasty,” “American Hunter” and “American Fisherman.”  Robertson’s story is a remarkable example of entrepreneurship and dedication built on faith and family.

Robertson’s appearance at Grace College is part of the college’s annual Career Week.  Each year, the Center for Career Connections at Grace College hosts Career Week to equip students with information and perspectives to guide the trajectory of their education.  Career-focused chapel speakers and a career fair are scheduled to assist students as they consider their calling and the next chapter in their lives.

Dr. Bill Katip, president of Grace College, looks forward to having Robertson on campus.  “We are thrilled to bring Willie Robertson to Grace to share with our students and community the amazing story of his family’s faith journey woven through their incredibly successful businesses and entertainment ventures,” Katip said.
