WINONA LAKE — Two meetings are scheduled tonight in Winona Lake as the town is expected to consider any steps to be taken following the state audit that highlighted many problems, some of which included unauthorized use of credit cards by town employees.

Town Council meets at 6 p.m. tonight and is expected to consider recommendations on the issue from the town attorney and a financial advisory.

The park board is then slated to meet at 7:30 p.m. in a special meeting. A reason for the meeting was not provided.

Some residents have called for a return of money that was deemed by the state as not being properly authorized.
