The Warsaw Police Department announced Ryan L. Petty has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
Petty attended Indiana University/Purdue University Fort Wayne where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He is a 2009 Indiana Law Enforcement Academy graduate.
Petty has served the department since 2008. During his law enforcement career, he has been a field training officer as well as a certified emergency vehicle operations instructor.
Additionally, Petty is a member of the Warsaw Emergency Response Team and the Warsaw Dive Team.
