BREAKING NEWS: Warsaw High School, three others closed due to illness

WARSAW – Warsaw Community Schools announced Wednesday the closing of four schools for at least two days as illness spreads through much of Indiana.
The decision came after advice from the Kosciusko County Health Department, according to a news release from the school system.
Four schools — Leesburg Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, Lakeview Middle School, and Warsaw Community High School — will switch to e-Learning on Thursday, Dec. 15, and again on Friday as a result of high absenteeism of students, teachers, bus drivers, and support staff.
The situation will be closely monitored and updates will be communicated to parents via email, the school system said.
More information will be forthcoming from building principals and teachers. Transportation staff will be reaching out with necessary bus changes if impacted.

All other WCS schools will remain open and have in-person learning on their regular schedules.
