Cause Of Warsaw Mobile Home Fire Remains Under Investigation

cause of a mobile home fire Friday is unknown as of Sunday night and is still under investigation.

Plain Township Fire Department was called to a mobile home fire at 3606 N. CR 100E, Warsaw, owned by Stoney Hall, at 4:26 p.m.?Friday, said Plain Township Fire Chief Jared Haughee.

A passerby saw the smoke and called the fire in, he said.

When the fire department got to the scene, the back half of the mobile home had fire coming out of it, Haughee said.

There were no injuries from the fire and Hall was not home at the time of the fire, Haughee said.

He said the mobile home was a total loss.

Haughee said the cause of the fire is unknown but started in the kitchen.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS assisted and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office helped with traffic.

The American Red Cross assisted Hall after the fire.
