The community is mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant.
Winona Lake Fire Chief Mitch Titus passed away Sunday after being airlifted to the hospital Friday.
An outpouring of support for the family has been seen on social media pages for nearby fire and law enforcement agencies.
Family and friends are invited to share their condolences and memories during visitation that will be held on Wednesday, May 8 from 2 – 8 p.m. at the Winona Heritage Room.
A final farewell to Mitch will take place with an 11 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, May 9 at The Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
