Elhart Man Pleads Guilty After Knife Incident

It's a guilty plea from an Elkhart County man who admitted beating a former family friend. It was two years ago prosecutors say Andrw Adkins held his wheelchair-bound victim at knife point, and used the knife to make long scratch marks along her neck and chest. This, after victim's family had allowed Adkins to stay with them for a couple of weeks, then kicked him out after he wore out his welcome. A couple weeks later, Adkins showed up at the home demanding a television set that did not belong to him. The victim tried to block him from getting into the home with her wheelchair and that's when Adkins pulled the knife. He faces 2 to 8 years in prison when he's sentenced next month.
