Father & Son Fear For Safety In Concord Schools Nativity Scene Dispute

A father and son who filed a lawsuit against Concord Community Schools for its live Nativity scene fear for their safety and believe they would be intimidated and harassed if their true identities were revealed. That “Doe” family filed a request for a protective order, which would allow them to remain anonymous in the federal lawsuit. John and Jack Doe sued the school district for endorsing a religion in a manner that is illegal and unconstitutional. Much of the community has expressed outrage at the lawsuit, claiming the two, along with the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the A-C-L-U, are attempting to ruin a 30 year tradition.
