Help Your Kids By Helping Their Teacher

If you want to help your kids in school, a website suggests you team up with their teacher. Especially at the elementary school level, according to education.com.  Think of little ways you can help, including volunteering.  That could be  reading to the class, or sharing your areas of expertise or hobbies as a fun learning alternative.  Even helping restock the supply closet or decorating the room or a  bulletin board can make a difference.  Most of the time of teachers won't ask or don't even think to ask. A simple email or note with your child should do the trick. Only have a few minutes to spare per week, even coming in to sharpen pencils can keep your teacher on point. A little bit of help can go a long way.
