Jail to begin using third party to handle inmate mail

WARSAW – Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is changing its policy on how incoming mail for inmates in handled.
The policy comes after it started a policy that involves the distribution of tablets used in various aspects related to inmates.
All incoming mail will now be handled by a third party.
Beginning Nov. 20, no mail will be accepted at the Sheriff’s Office for inmates. It will be sent to a third party company who will review it and scan it into the new IPAD system.
