A Virginian is in the Elkhart County Jail, accused of drugging and raping a woman at a Goshen hotel. According to court documents, 34 year-old Johnathan Trahin was in Goshen last summer to visit a friend, who is a relative of the victim. The two were hanging out in his room at the Super 8 hotel on Lincolnway East. He was drinking and she dozed off watching tv, only to wake, finding him on top of her. She said she felt groggy and couldn't move. She came to later, left the room and called police. After a DNA test on her clothing, Trahin was booked into the Elkhart County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
