Motorcyclist injured in Wednesday crash along US 30

A motorcyclist was injured along US 30 Wednesday afternoon.

The Warsaw Police Department said the crash happened around 5:45 PM at the intersection with Silveus Crossing on the city’s north side. They say 81-year old John Stull was eastbound along US 30 in a pick-up truck and was making a left turn. As Stull was making the left turn, he collided with a westbound motorcyclist, 63-year old Phillip Beer of Craigville.

Police said Stull told them he did not see Beer coming. Beer was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital with multiple injuries. His condition as of this morning was not known.

Another crash happened at US 30 and Center Street Thursday afternoon as well, but no information was ready regarding that crash.
