Retiring North Webster Library Director Helen Leinbach Frank was awarded the prestigious Sagamore of Wabash Award by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.

Frank recently retired after serving 31 years as director of North Webster Library. Under her leadership, she brought the library from a small volunteer entity housed in a small room to a tax-supported public library in a new 20,000 square foot modern facility.

Frank was nominated for the award by the Friends of the North Webster Community Public Library. The group honored her as “distinguished by her humanity in living, her loyalty in friendship, her wisdom in council and her inspiration in leadership.”
